Allyson Felix
Allyson Michelle Felix was born in Los Angeles on November 18 1985. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained minister at Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. And her mother Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix discovered early that she was gifted to run when she was a student at Los Angeles Baptist High School. She finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in only 10 weeks after her very first tryout. Felix finished high school in 2003, and became a part of Adidas to become an athlete in professional competition. In the following year, she was a student at the University of Southern California studying elementary education. Felix took home her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics that took place in Athens Greece. She broke a Junior World Record by running 200 metres in 22.18 seconds. In the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix was the youngest world champion for running 200m. She won the title in 2007. won the title against her Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix placed consistently at the top of the podium across her diverse races in the Olympics that took place during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
