Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4 1981) is an American actress. She is most well-known for her role in the film Cowboys & Aliens The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great & Powerful The Great and Powerful Is Where I Leave You, as well in the show on TV called Angel's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne & Suits. The actress is currently starring as Amantha Holden in the Sundance Channel Drama series Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer - an American actress whose work includes both film and TV - is a TV star. Her most well-known work was in her role in the drama series Rectify and on the sci-fi show Timeless. She hails from Gulf Breeze, Florida and began her acting career on the soap-opera All My Children. The actress was awarded the Soap Opera Digest Award for the most outstanding female newcomer. In the following years she was mostly a guest on parts on various television series. Her popularity was rewarded for her character of Dr. Erin Jameson in the drama series Hawthorne. Her stunning looks coupled with her amazing acting skills led to a gradual growth of the number of fans. She made her film debut in 20 and was acting in the film Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War as along with Chasing Mavericks are two other films in which she appeared. The character she played for in Beautiful Now was recognized with the Madrid International Film Festival Award. Recently, Spencer portrayed Lucy Preston (history professor) in Timeless. Spencer has received a Teen Choice Award nomination and has also been acknowledged for her role on the show by critics.
